
About Dr. M. Satyanarayana
Was born to Leelavathy and Venkata Sesha Rao at Machilipatnam in 1958, completed Primary and Secondary Education (1963-1973) at Nagarjuna Sagar, Nolgonda District, AP.
Studied Medicine at Visakhapatnam (1977-82). Moved to Hyderabad in December, 1982 and joined with Nephrology and Kidney Transplant Team at Mahavir Hospital and Research Center, (February 1984 to February 1994). Recruited into AP Government Service as Civil Assistant Surgeon, served for four years. Presently doing full time Family Medicine Practice at Bhagyanagar and Vasant Nagar Kukatpally, Hyderabad.
Married in 1995 to Sasikala, a Post-Graduate in Zoology. Blessed with two children Gayathri (Born 29/11/1995) and Goutham (Born 15/06/1998) and residing at their own premises Plot – 20, Vasant Nagar, Kukatpally, Hyderabad.
Love to Play with Children, Listen to Classical Music and to work on Computers.

- Completed MBBS, at Andhra Medical College Visakhapatnam (1977-82).
- Internship training at Osmania General Hospital Hyderabad (1983).
- Undergone 3 year DNB (Internal Medicine) Training Programme at Mahavir Hospital and Research Center Hyderabad.
- Took Management Training Course in Medicine from Indian Institute of Health, Govt of India, February 1997 at Hyderabad.
- Completed Intensive Training Course on HIV/AIDS from Govt of AP, under National Aids Control Organization (NACO), March 1998.

Professional Experience
- Worked in different capacities in the department of Renal Medicine, Dialysis and Organ Transplantation at Mahavir Hospital and Research Centre, Hyderabad from February, 1984 to February, 1994. During this period involved as a team member in assisting more than 1000 Kidney Transplant Operations and Donor Nephrectomies in different centers at Hyderabad (Apollo, Mahavir, Medwin, Satya Kidney Centre, Sai Vani and CDR Hospitals) and in various centers in India (Delhi, Dibrugarh, Nellore etc.). Performed various procedures and interventions in Clinical Nephrology and Urology including Haemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, Kidney Perfusions, Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) etc.
- Worked in association with Dr S. Sahariah, an eminent Transplant Surgeon in India, Late Dr Rambhupal (Nephrologist) and other Professors of Nephrology Dr A. Gopala Kishan, Dr Girish Narayen, Dr Pradeep Deshpande, Dr Anuradha, Dr M. Soma Sekhar and Dr K. S. Nayak, consultant Nephrologist.
- Practiced as a part time Primary Care Physician at Aswini Clinic, KPHB Colony Kukatpally from December 1986 to August 1998. Subsequently practicing at Aswini Clinic Bhagyanagar and Vasant Nagar as a full-time practitioner till date.
- Served as Civil Assistant Surgeon in Andhra Pradesh Medical and Health Services from February 1994 to July 1998. During this tenure performed more than 200 Sterilization Operations (Tubectomies, Vasectomies) and 50 Post-Mortem Examinations.
- Associated with Dr K. J. R. Murthy, MD, a well known Chest Physician in treating TB and Chest diseases at Mahavir Hospital and Research Center from 1984 to 1994.
- Assisted Dr S. Chandrasekhar Rao, Professor of Surgical Oncology, in performing Oncology Surgeries at Amar Hospitals, Hyderabad.
- Participated in Perindropril + Amlodipine efficiency and safety phase IV clinical study, under Serdia Pharma guidance.
